Privacy policy

Review required before launch. This document describes how the site is actually built, but it has not been reviewed by counsel. Have a licensed attorney review it against your obligations under GLBA, CCPA/CPRA, and your state's requirements before this site goes live.

What this site does not collect

This site has no application form, no rate-quote form, and no account system. It does not ask for or accept your name, address, Social Security number, income, employment, assets, credit information, or any other loan-application data. If you reach a page on this domain asking for that information, it is not ours.

What is collected automatically

• Server and CDN logs. Cloudflare records the usual request metadata — IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL, referrer — for security and abuse prevention.
• Analytics and attribution. We record which pages are read and which links are followed, using a first-party identifier stored in your browser. It is a random value; it is not derived from anything about you and is not sold.
• Marketing parameters. If you arrive from an ad or a shared link, campaign parameters in the URL (utm_*, gclid, fbclid and similar) may be recorded so we know which content brought you here.

Outbound links to Bloom Lending

When you follow a call to action to Bloom Lending, LLC, the link carries our first-party identifier and any campaign parameters so Bloom can attribute the visit. From that point you are on Bloom Lending's site under their privacy policy, and anything you submit there is governed by it, not by this page.

Third-party embeds

The rates panel embeds a widget served by Mortgage News Daily in an iframe. Because it is an iframe, it cannot read this site's content or set a cookie in our name; your browser does make a request to their servers to load it, which they may log under their own policy.

Cookies and similar storage

The site uses first-party browser storage for the analytics identifier described above. It runs no third-party advertising networks and no cross-site ad trackers. You can clear this storage at any time in your browser settings; the site continues to work without it.

Do Not Track and opt-out signals

We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where your browser sends one, and treat it as an opt-out of sale or sharing of personal information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information is held about you, to request its deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. To exercise any of these, contact us at the address below. We do not sell personal information.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be posted here with an updated date at the top.
